Press Release: Dynamx IC:ABS Announces 4D Sculpt, New Technique for 2011

BOGOTÁ, Colombia – Dr. Alfredo Hoyos and the Dynamx International Center for Artistic Body Sculpting (IC:ABS) are proud to announce the release of their newest liposculpture technique for 2011: 4D Sculpt.

Dr. Hoyos is the creator of VASER High Definition, the ultrasound-assisted liposculpture technique that sculpted average-looking patients into athletes.

After working with the technique since 2002, Dr. Hoyos discovered that the procedure that revolutionized the liposuction industry into the liposculpture industry could be even better.

Although VASER Hi-Def was the top-echelon of body contouring procedures, Dr. Hoyos was still not satisfied with it. “As the creator of [VASER Hi-Def], I noticed that some individuals had amazing results, while others—no matter how the good technique or the surgeon’s effort—didn’t acheive the expected goal,” he said. “So I had to go back to the drawing table.”

At the drawing table, Dr. Hoyos discovered something amazing that would again change the body contouring procedure—and the surgeon’s perspective on his work—forever.

Plastic surgeons, like any artist, work in dimensions. The original liposuction of historical fame operated in two dimensions: flabby and not flabby. VASER Hi-Def was revolutionary in that it sculpted the patient with three dimensions in mind, incorporating artistic shadow, light, and enhanced superficial anatomy.

While working with VASER Hi-Def, Dr. Hoyos noticed that the muscles he sculpted remained static. The superficial anatomy did not move fluidly with the patient as natural anatomy would. Dr. Hoyos discovered that he must incorporate dynamic motion into his three-dimensional, but static, sculptures to truly re-create the human form. “Athletic bodies need movement to show their maximum splendor,” he explained.

By integrating motion into his surgical planning, technique, and perspective, he found that the results were finally reflecting his expected splendor. “I added a new dimension to the 3D body contouring procedure: movement in time. 3D + Dynamic = 4D,” he said. “It is a new, dynamic way to see the whole anatomy and to sculpt it.”

The Dynamx IC:ABS by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos is proud to begin offering 4D Sculpt courses this June. Dynamx IC:ABS currently offers Basic VASER, Advanced VASER, and Hi-Def training courses to licensed plastic surgeons. VASER Hi-Def will soon be replaced by 4D Sculpt.
